1. Acceptance Of These Terms
These terms govern your use of this website and every order you place on it. By browsing, creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are published as an electronic record under the Information Technology Act 2000 and do not require a physical signature.
2. Who May Buy
- You must be at least eighteen years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act 1872.
- A minor may transact only through a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for the order.
- We deliver only to addresses inside India, and only to pin codes shown as serviceable at checkout.
- We may decline or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, resale abuse, a pricing error, or a breach of these terms.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend an account that is being used for fraud, for abusing coupons or returns, or for scraping the catalogue.
4. Product Listings, Pricing And GST
- Every price shown on a product page is in Indian Rupees and is inclusive of GST at the rate applicable to that category, currently 18 per cent for most electronics.
- Delivery charges, cash on delivery charges, coupon savings and bank offers are shown separately in the order summary before you pay. Nothing is added after payment.
- A tax invoice is issued for every order and is available for download from My Orders. Keep it, because a service centre will ask for it as proof of purchase date. Our GSTIN is 06AQXPJ7622A2ZR.
- To claim GST input credit, enter your business name and GSTIN before you place the order. A GSTIN cannot be added to an invoice after it has been generated.
- Specifications, images and box contents are published from manufacturer documentation. Where a brand changes a specification or the retail carton without notice, the manufacturer information prevails and we correct the listing.
5. How An Order Is Formed
Adding an item to the cart and completing checkout is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we received the offer. The contract is formed when we dispatch the item, and only for the items actually dispatched. If an item is unavailable, mispriced by an obvious error, or cannot be delivered to your pin code, we may cancel that line and refund it in full. Server side price and stock are authoritative at all times, so an amount shown by a stale browser tab or an altered page has no effect on the order.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods, charges and refund routes are set out in the Payment Policy. Payment must be completed before dispatch, except for orders placed with cash on delivery where the amount is collected at the door.
7. Delivery
Dispatch timelines, charges and packaging are covered by the Shipping Policy, and what happens at your door is covered by the Delivery Policy. Delivery estimates are working day estimates, not promises of a fixed hour, and they exclude delays caused by weather, strikes, restricted areas or an incorrect address.
8. Cancellation, Returns, Refunds And Warranty
- Cancellation Policy - cancelling before dispatch and what happens after.
- Return Policy - the 7 day window, category exceptions and pickup.
- Refund Policy - refund routes and timelines by payment method.
- Warranty Policy - manufacturer warranty, dead on arrival and service centres.
9. Disclosures Required Of An E-Commerce Entity
The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 require certain information to be displayed clearly. This table shows where each item is published on this site.
| Required disclosure | Where it is published |
|---|---|
| Legal name and address of the e-commerce entity | Footer and Contact page, from the store details configured by the administrator |

10. Reviews And Anything You Post
Reviews must reflect genuine experience of a product you bought. Do not post another person contact details, unlawful content, abuse, or content you do not own. We may decline or remove a review that breaches this, and we do not remove a review merely because it is negative. By posting you grant us a non exclusive licence to display that content on the site.
11. Intellectual Property
The site layout, text, graphics and code are owned by us or licensed to us. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the products we sell. You may not copy the catalogue, scrape the site, or use any mark in a way that suggests endorsement.
12. What We Are Not Liable For
- Loss of data on a device you sent for service or returned to us. Back up your data first and remove any account lock.
- Indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business arising from a delayed or defective order.
- Third party websites linked from this site, including brand and service centre pages.
- Delay or failure caused by an event beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, civil unrest, strike, network failure or a change in law.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Consumer complaints may also be taken to the consumer commission having jurisdiction where you reside, as the Consumer Protection Act 2019 permits.
14. Grievance Redressal
Raise a complaint through the contact page and you will receive a ticket number. If the reply does not resolve the matter, ask for escalation on the same ticket. Escalations may also be sent to info@shopinnkart.com with the subject line Grievance Officer. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within forty eight hours and to resolve it within one month, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.
15. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that governs that order, so the last updated date above matters. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the price on the product page the final price?
The product price includes GST. Delivery and any cash on delivery charge are added in the order summary and shown to you before payment.
Can I add my company GSTIN after placing the order?
No. The invoice is generated from the details on the order, and GST law does not allow a tax invoice to be re-issued with a different recipient afterwards. Enter the GSTIN at checkout.
What if the price shown was wrong?
An obvious pricing error does not create a binding contract. We will tell you, cancel the affected line and refund it in full rather than dispatch at an incorrect price.
Do these terms take away my consumer rights?
No. Statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 apply regardless of what these terms say.
